NOREEN ROSIN Suddenly but peacefully at her residence on Saturday, July 21, 2001. Noreen married in 1950 and was predeceased by her loving husband Leo in 1986. Also predeceased by her parents, her sister Helen (Dooley) Johnson and brother Edward Gallagher. She is survived by her beloved sister Mary Gallagher; brother-in-law Glen Johnson; sisters-in-law, Elsie Gallagher and Edith Rosin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Noreen lived her entire life in Winnipeg and was employed for many years with Simmons Bedding prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Bernadettes Parish and was active in the CWL and a number of church committees. An avid golfer, she spent many happy years as a member of St. Boniface Golf Club. She played bridge regularly with several groups at Kenbur Gardens. Funeral service will be held at St. Bernadettes Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd., on Friday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Parish Centre. A private family interment will be held at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the St. Bernadette Parish.
