LOUISE ADAMS-BARR Out of a clear blue sky cancer came and took the life of my best friend, the mother of Emma and Graeme. Born in Newcastle, England Lou attended Queenston, River Heights, and Kelvin schools here in Winnipeg. She went on to employ her enormous energy and creative talents in a variety of occupations and personal projects in the ensuing years. Lous all consuming passions in life included music, travel, fashion, animal welfare, our wonderful children of course, and, thankfully, me. Her instincts, her sensibilities, her style, her loyalty, her faith in us, her sense of fun, her endless love; all these are irreplaceable to us. Her mother, her sister and brother and their families, and a wealth of family in the UK also survive her. To each and every one she was fiercely devoted, and this includes her close circle of friends. If you loved Lou please try and attend a life celebration in her honour to be held at our residence Sunday, July 29 beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to either the Adopt a Room fund at Womens Hospital, WRS-5, 735 Notre Dame Ave. or to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
