DRURY March 15, 1929 - July 22, 2001 After a sudden illness Bill, aged 72, passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, leaving cherished moments and memories, surrounded by loving wife and companion Pat (Litke) and his loving family: daughters, Sharline and Brian, Joanne and Harry, Ji-Ann and Don, Kathie; sons, Kent and Margaret, Gerald and Jane, Grant, Rick, William, Allen and Jill, Barry and Debbie, Ron and Donna, Chris and Karen, Rick and Karen; as well as 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Jim and Evelyn Drury; Alan and Pearl Merriam; nephew Ed and Lee Merriam; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his mother Sarah Drury and father William Drury; brothers, Norman, Joseph and Edward; sisters, Joan and Florence. Bill was a member of the Army and Navy No. 60. His long working career spanned over 50 years, as a printer, cement truck driver at Winnipeg Supply and Valley Florists. If friends so desire, flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in Bills memory at Salvation Army, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Emergency Department and GA4 at Health Sciences Centre. Memorial service for Bill will be held on Friday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St.
