ROSE-MARIE PHYLLIS JOHANNESEN (nee THOMSON) Accidentally, on Friday, July 20, 2001, Rose-Marie Phyllis Johannesen, aged 54 years, beloved wife of Alfred Johannesen, of Inwood, MB. Born October 23, 1946, in Winnipeg, Rose-Marie moved to Stonewall in 1964 and 1973 to Inwood. Rose was a very loyal and hard working employee who was well respected by all who knew her. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her loyalty, friendship and love will be greatly missed by all. Surviving besides her husband Alfred; son Michael (wife Robin) grandchildren, Brittany and Michael; daughter Kimberly; grandchildren, Kendra and Brennen; and her daughter Sharon, who died as the result of the same accident; sisters, Geo (Bob) Smyth of Kamloops, Sharon (Oliver) Christensen of Winnipeg, Heather (Daryl) Magnowski of Brandon; numerous nieces and nephews and her lifetime friend Carol Molter (Paterson). She was predeceased by her mother Gwen Thomson in 1989. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of arrangements. SHARON LEE JOHANNESEN Peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre, on July 22, 2001, with her family at her side, Sharon went to join her Mom. She will be lovingly remembered by her father Alfred; brother Michael (Robin, Brittany, Michael) sister Kimberly (Kendra, Brennen) her grandma Ella Magwood; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and best friend, her cat "Spirit". Sharon was born in Stonewall, July 1, 1971 and later moved to Inwood. She attended school there and then Teulon Collegiate. She later moved to Teulon. Sharon was a very special person that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her health did not permit her to be steadily employed, but Sharon gave 110% to everything she did. Co-workers enjoyed her sense of humour and respected her dedication. Sharon had a love for art and spent a lot of time dedicated to her work. Her ability was known to many and recently, she had turned her hand to woodworking. She was predeceased by her grandfather Garnet Magwood; grandma Gwen Thomson; great-grandma Gladys Emms; and recently, her mother Rose-Marie Johannesen. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital or to the Winnipeg Humane Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of arrangements.
