JAMES GORDON McBRIDE 1938 - 2001 On July 22, 2001, James Gordon McBride passed away peacefully at the age of 62. James was predeceased by his wife Sandra McBride (Tyack) his mother Dorothy McBride (Blythe) his father William Spense McBride; and his sister Dorothy Vincent. He is survived by his son Frederick; his brother William McBride; and his sister Florence Elliot. James worked for the City of Winnipeg in the Parks and Recreation Department for over 25 years until his recent retirement. He had a very good sense of humour and shared it with everyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed playing the ponies every once in awhile and also enjoyed playing bingo with his wife Sandra. The family wishes to thank all the staff of the #3 East Wing of the Riverview Hospital for making his last days comfortable. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at the Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street.
