MARGARET KARAKAS (nee CLINCKE) After a courageous battle, Margaret Karakas passed away July 24, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 63 years. Forever remembered by her husband of forty years Leslie; son Michael; daughter Marilyn (Joseph) Taferner; grandchildren, Glenn, Andrea and Steven. Also left to cherish her memory is brother Lucian (Alison) as well as nieces and nephews, Eileen, Daniel and Mark. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Maria; sister Mariette and her nephew Matthew. Margaret was employed as a Legal Secretary for many years most recently Tupper and Adams. She loved to spend her time at the cottage in the Whiteshell where she could embrace her love for the outdoors, where she was the happiest. She also took great pleasure in being with her grandchildren as her time with them meant a great deal to her. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m., in St. Andrew Bobola Parish, 541 Marion St. Service to conclude at the church. Pallbearers will be Frank Clincke, Mark Clincke, Mark and Aaron Lussier, Frank and Derrick Bockstael. Special thanks to the Medical staff at the Health Science Centre GD-4 Wing for their care and support during a very difficult time.
