Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE GLORIA MOSKAL (nee BAGAN) On Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, Elsie Gloria Moskal, aged 74 years, beloved wife of Victor Moskal of Gimli, MB. Elsie was born in Gilbert Plains, MB on February 14, 1927. She was brought up and attended school in Pine River. During the Second World War she worked at Canada Car and Foundry in Fort William, ON. After the war she worked for Singer Sewing Machines as an instructor and later as a manager of Sears in Dauphin, MB. In 1960, she and Victor were married in Dauphin and for the next few years Victor taught school at various location in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario with the Department of Indian Affairs. In 1970, Victor and Elsie moved to Gimli where Victor taught at the High School. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Kathy Henderson (Rick) of Shoal Lake, MB, daughter Adrienne (Bob) Moskal of Spanish, ON, and son Victor (Mary Ann) of Toronto, ON; two grandchildren, Brynne and Bobby Henderson; a brother Myron; sisters, Sally, Stephanie, Lee and Mathilda; and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Gimli with Fr. Jose Cabral officiating assisted by Fr. Art Seaman and Deacon Ray Sutton. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date in the Gimli Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
