Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILFRED AIME GAREAU November 12, 1942 - July 22, 2001 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Wilfred Gareau, Sunday, July 22, 2001 in Maple Ridge, BC. He is survived by son Marcel (Tara) and grandchildren, Jerrick and Jessica; and son Laurel (Evelyn). Also his father Laurier Gareau; brothers, Art (Gertie), Ed (Cecile), George (Lorraine) sisters, Aline Buors (Armand), Cecile Devlin (Gerald William) his godmother Aunty Alice Carpenter; aunts, Noella Langill, Valerie Delaronde, Alida Teece; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Aline Gareau, January 21, 1987. Our family sincerely wishes to thank the staff at Maple Ridge Hospital, BC, and his very close friends who were so kind to him, John McCaskill, Marcel Lavallee and wife Susan, George Champagne, and cousin Raymond Gareau. The neighbors and the many, many friends who helped him and visited Wilf at home and at the hospital, and who also brought meals to the house. His spirit will live in our hearts forever. Service will be held at Green Acres Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 at Green Acres Lane at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 28. Fr. I. Blanchette officiating.
