ISABELLA VAN BUREN (nee WILSON) Isabella (Bunty) Van Buren (nee Wilson) passed away after a lengthy illness on July 17, 2001 at St. Josephs Villa in Hamilton, ON. She was predeceased by her husband Scotty in 1996; her parents, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her loving son John (Doreen) of Niagara Falls, ON, and loving daughter Frances (Doug) Brown of Surrey, B.C.; seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Isabella was born in Dundee, Scotland on November 18, 1919. She came to Canada with her parents in 1928 and grew up in the Fort Rouge area of Winnipeg. She lived there till she moved to Hamilton in 1996. Isabella was employed by Quintons Cleaners and Gaults Wholesale, retiring in 1969. She loved bowling at Mosienkos Lanes and camping at Fore-All Campgrounds in Petersfield, MB. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 30 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. A private family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
