CONSTANCE STELLA FORREST After a lengthy illness and courageous battle, Connie Forrest passed away peacefully on July 24, 2001 at Deer Lodge Center. Her father, Michael, her mother Stella and sister Beatrice, predeceased Connie. She is survived by her husband Glen; son Drew (Laurie) grandchildren Jessica and Connor; daughter Heather (Marion) sister Doreen (Walter) brother Roy (Anne-Marie) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie was born in Portage la Prairie on January 26, 1935. She resided in Portage la Prairie until moving to Winnipeg to become a Registered Nurse at St. Boniface General Hospital. On October 19, 1957, she and Glen were married. Connie devoted her life to her family and her friends. Her most precious and joyous times were spent in the company of those she loved. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who was always present with an open and accepting heart and loving and compassionate words. Her guidance, love and wisdom will never be forgotten. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith St., Donald St. entrance. The family would like to thank the Deer Lodge Staff for their care and support.
