GEORGE KOMADOSKI George Komadoski passed away July 26, 2001 at the Riverview Health Centre. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sybil; children, Gail (Kevin) and Neil (Lauren) brother Bert; and sister Peggy. George was born in Biggar, SK on December 9, 1923 and moved to Beausejour where he enlisted in the Navy during the Second World War. After the War, his family moved to Winnipeg where George became a journeyman plumber. In 1947 George married Sybil E. (nee) Houston and they had two children, Neil and Gail. He also has three grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly and Neil. Following years of plumbing, George became Sales Manager of Western Supplies Limited in Winnipeg. He spent two years in Edmonton with Western Supplies, returning to Winnipeg in 1983 where he started Kildonan Agencies. George spent many happy times at his "hunting shack" in Plumas, MB where he made many friends. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and golfing. After retiring he kept in touch with old friends and co-workers in the plumbing industry through the Coffee Group; as well as members of the Khartum Shrine at the Friday Lunch & Munch. George was predeceased by his sister Sue; and his parents, Paul and Eugenie. We would like to thank the nursing unit of Winnipeg Home Care, the doctors, nurses and caregivers of 3East at Riverview Health Centre for their constant and compassionate care of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Riverview Health Centre, the Cancer Clinic or the charity of their choice. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 28, at 10:30 a.m. in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
