Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK CAMPBELL ROGERS Passed away peacefully on July 28, 2001 at the age of 81. Born in Winnipeg, Jack attended the University of Manitoba, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He served in the RCAF for five years during the Second World War, on the west coast of Canada, India and Burma. He retired from a 32 year career with IBM in 1982. In addition to being a loving and involved father of five, Jack was an active church member and community contributor. He was a long-standing member of the Rotary Club, serving at various times on the board, as secretary and as president. He also served on the boards of Operation Eyesight Universal, and the BC and Yukon Division of the Canadian Cancer Society. He will be deeply missed by the friends and family he loved. Brother to Jim (Barb) and Bill (Mary). Predeceased by daughter Lorna. Dear father and father-in-law to Janet and Bob, Chris and Gary, Marny, Paul and Lynette. Grandfather to Jill, Ian, Kate, Lindsay, Connor and Nathan. A private cremation has taken place. As he would have wished, a memorial service will be held after Paul and Lynette return from their honeymoon. The service will be held at West Vancouver Baptist Church on Saturday, August 25, at 2:00 p.m.
