SHEILA A. RIDDELL It is with sadness that the Riddell family announces the passing of Sheila on July 26, 2001 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 46 years. Sheila was predeceased by her mother Margaret (2001) and by a brother John (1990). She leaves her father Stan and a brother Jim (Janice) of Edmonton, AB. She received great support from her brothers John and Jim and her parents Margaret and Stan and they had many happy times together when they were young. At age 32 Sheila moved into a home with four other young women, which was maintained by Winnserv Inc. She adapted very quickly and was very happy there. After attending special schools she entered Com-Span Inc. day centre and had attended regularly over the past 24 years. She thoroughly loved and enjoyed the staff and the participants. A special thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and to the staff at Winnserv Inc. and Com-span Inc. for their caring and compassion. Also Dr. Biala and Olga Maxwell, Mara Drpa and Albert Legras. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in memory of Sheila Riddell to Winnserv Inc., 101-960 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0R4.
