Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA JANE SHIPLEY 1907 - 2001 Our gentle mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died in her sleep during the early morning of July 16, 2001. Both Ken and Sheila were in Ottawa and had enjoyed rewarding visits with her shortly before she died. Born Edna Iverach, Isabella, MB, predeceased by husband Rollie, 1977, she is survived by son Ken Shipley and wife Carol, Ottawa; daughter Sheila White and husband Arthur Wood, Edmonton; grandchildren Kevin Shipley and wife Carol McGarity, Kingston; David Urban Shipley and wife Ruth, Jill Shipley and husband Marc Gallant, Elaine Shipley and Vinnie Kicknosway, Ottawa/Hull; Erinne White, Ottawa; Douglas White, London, England; great-grandchildren Ellen, Rachel, Michael, Ben, Jonathan, Olivia. Mom enjoyed special friendships with nieces, nephews, and dear friends of all ages locally and internationally. In recent months she received comfort and joy from loving companion Barbara Jones. Family met at Ken and Carols home July 20.
