Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD DOUGLAS SHORE 1932 - 2001 Our father, grandfather and loving husband passed away suddenly on July 26, 2001 at the age of 68 years. Don was born and raised in Winnipeg and worked for 42 years with Canadian Pacific Railways, retiring from CP Intermodel Services as a supervisor in 1992. After retirement Don enjoyed his summers at Brereton Lake, winters in Florida and many world travels. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 22 years, Doreen; as well as his two children, Paul (Ann) of Calgary and Claudette (Ray) MacGregor of Edmonton, and his grandson Justin MacGregor. Don will also be missed by his brother Neil (Sylvia) nephew David and nieces, Andrea and Karalyn; also his step-family, Brenda Carson, Don (Ellen) Carson, Tom (Lucille) Carson, Barbara (Tim) Sitar; and children, David and Michael Carson, Paul, Michelle and Valerie Carson, Christina Sitar, and his many other relatives and life long friend Gerry Courage. Despite his quiet ways those who knew him well were fortunate to have been touched by his humour and gentle personality. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance.
