PETER MYSAK Peacefully on July 22, 2001 Peter Mysak, 75 years, went to his eternal rest. He was predeceased by his daughter Shirley in 1985 and brother Stefan in Australia in 1998. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are brother Bohdan and relatives in Ukraine; and niece Irena (John) Dnistriansky; nephews, Yury, Roman and Ted; and many relatives in Australia. He will be missed by his many friends, especially close friend Helen Johnston. Peter was born in western Ukraine, lived in Germany and England before coming to Canada in 1953. He was a millwright and worked in the industrial construction field in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario, retiring in 1986. He was a parishioner at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church where he enjoyed singing in the church choir, was active in the 50+ Club, and was a member of Bishop Ladyka Council No. 9020, Knights of Columbus. His wit and sense of humour will be fondly remembered. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial divine liturgy (mass) service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31 at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 390 Marion St. Flowers gratefully declined; donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
