Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANGANETA (NETA) REIMER (nee DERKSEN) Peacefully, after a brief illness, Neta Reimer, aged 79 years, passed away July 28, 2001 at Bethania Personal Care Home. Neta was born in Katharinowka, Ukraine on November 24, 1921. She immigrated to Paraguay in 1947 and came to Canada in 1950, settling in Winnipeg where she was employed at Paulin Chambers until her retirement in 1981. Predeceased by her parents, husband Peter, sister Maria, son Al, and brother-in-law Henry Wiebe. She leaves to mourn her sister Kaethe Wiebe; daughter Eleanor (Jim) Kay; daughter-in-law Donna; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott and Erica Reimer, Jonathan and Allison Kay; and great-grandson Marcus Reimer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, Notre Dame and Alverstone, with Rev. Hermann Dueck officiating. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S7. A heartfelt thank you to friends, medical professionals and staff at Bethania, in particular the nursing staff, for their support and caring. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
