Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJERRY BOYCHUK Unexpectedly on July 28, 2001 Jerry passed away at the age of 46. He is survived by his wife Gwenda who was "the love of his life"; and his children, Samuel and Emily; his stepchildren, Dana, Trisha, Margo and Ashley. Also, left with broken hearts is his mother Lena Boychuk; twin sister Janet Hebert; brother-in-law Marcel; and nephews, Daniel and Marc. Jerry was pre-deceased by his father John. Jerry was born in Winnipeg on January 11, 1955 and grew up in Flin Flon where he lived for 18 years. He was always active and helpful at his parents business, "Johnnys Confectionary". He played hockey with the Flin Flon Bombers and the University of Manitoba Bisons. He had won a hockey scholarship and became the team captain. After graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce he went on to get his Masters from the University of Western Ontario. His career included entrepreneurship and management with large companies, throughout North America and overseas. His most recent position was the Chief Operating Officer of KT Industries in Winnipeg. "Jer" always demonstrated a positive attitude, an incredible passion for life and true devotion to his family. He had the wisdom to develop untapped capabilities in others. He had an unshakable belief in the Lord. He was active in his church as well as Promise Keepers. JER, WE WILL ALL MISS YOU DEARLY. Funeral service will be held at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2 at the Church of the Rock, 2211 Pembina Highway with Pastor Mark Hughes officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
