ROSE GAGNON (CLAEYS)

ROSE GAGNON (nee CLAEYS) December 13, 1958 - July 28, 2001 Peacefully, at the age of 42, with her family by her side after a long illness, Rose went home to be with her Saviour. Rose was a very friendly and generous person, a devoted wife and mother, and loved her two granddaughters. She will be sadly missed by her husband Arcel, her two sons, Paul (Crystal), Patrick (Kelly) granddaughter Kiera, daughter Stephanie (Rolly), granddaughter Victoria, her two step-children, Arcel Jr. (Mona) and Lynn. Also her parents, Paul and Emilie Claeys, two brothers and three sisters, Rachel (Andre) Therrien, Raymond (Simone) Claeys, Rita (Gordon) Mayner, Richard (Christine) Claeys, Rena (Gerald) Bonneteau; stepsister Lucille (Art) Ritchot, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, August 1 at 7:15 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapels in Steinbach, MB. May you rest in peace, we love you and we will miss you dearly. Always remembered and never forgotten. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away; You suffered much in silence You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be; So He put His arms around you, And whispered, "Come to Me." So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again.
