JEANNINE RIVARD Surrounded by members of her family, Jeannine Rivard peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2001 at the Riverview Health Centre after a brief illness, at the age of 63 years. She was predeceased by her father Joseph, mother Annette and a sister Cecile. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Claude (Joyce) Rivard; and sisters, Yvette Gillis of Elie, Yvonne Prive of Port Alberni, BC, and Claudette (Terry) Trottier of Winnipeg; as well as numerous friends and relatives. Aunty Jean was very special to her many nieces and nephews. Jeannine was born and raised in St. Eustache, MB. Upon finishing high school, she moved to Winnipeg where she was a dedicated employee of the Bank of Montreal for 35 years. Jeannine enjoyed many summers entertaining friends at her trailer in Spruce Sands Resort. Over the past years, her hobbies included curling, baseball, bowling, attending the Festival du Voyageur and dancing. In addition to the Riverview Health Centre a special thanks is given to close friend Pat Balcaen for her hard work and support during Jeannines time of need. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Thursday August 2, at 7:00 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Michael Gillis, Denis Rivard and Joey Trottier.
