JACOB STEPANOW 1929-2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather and brother Jacob Stepanow on July 27, 2001, at the age of 72. Jacob leaves to mourn his passing his wife Edith of 40 years; daughters Jacqueline, Judy and Peggy; and one son Jake. He is also survived by three brothers, Paul of Edmonton, Alberta, Tommy of Gimli and Terry of Oakbank; one sister, Pauline, of Peachland, B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. Jacob was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Stepanow and one brother Bill. Jacob was born in Red Rose, Manitoba, he also worked numerous places then moved to Merritt, B.C. where he was employed there for many years as a heavy duty mechanic at the mines. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 2, and funeral service on Friday, August 3. Both services will be held in Merritt, B.C. You were always there when we needed you, No task too great or small, With a loving heart and a willing hand For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray when you left us, You knew how much we cared. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, He put his arms around you, And said "Come unto Me." Forever in our memories, The Stepanow Family Arrangements are being made in Merritt, B.C.
