PATRICIA JOANNE FRIESEN (PATTI) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Patti passed away on August 1, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre. Patti was 29 years old. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her mother and father, Colleen and Jim; sisters, Cathie (Derek), Angela (Bill), Jessica and Kim; nephews, Eric, Evan and Jack; nieces, Amy, Jennifer and Alexa. Patti also had many friends, too numerous to mention that held her close to their heart and will miss her zest for life and cheerful smile. Patti, despite her disabilities lived life to the fullest. She was very involved in her community and volunteered at many charitable organizations and functions around Winnipeg. Some of our fondest memories of Patti are watching her enjoy the things she loved, including Camp Arnes, travelling, Q-94 FM, Shrine Circus, shopping, Winnie the Pooh and of course, coffee with friends and family. The family would like to thank all the staff that worked for Pat at "In the Company of Friends", for all their love and support theyve provided over the years and for giving her the opportunity to live independently as she wished. Those who knew her loved her deeply. A celebration of Pattis life will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. on Saturday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pats name to Living In Friendship Everyday, 220- 500 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3X1.
