TERRY INGLESON It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather at his residence on August 2, 2001. Terry will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Dorothy; his children, Cheryl, Darlene and Darren (Michaela) and his three grandchildren, Steven, Nicholas, and Haley. He also leaves his sister Diane (Norm) of Green Valley, AZ; sister-in-law Judy; nieces and nephews, Carrie, Chris, Blake, Brian, and Penny; as well as numerous relatives in British Columbia and Gimli. He was predeceased by his brother Jack in Vancouver on May 20, 2001. Terry was born on December 1, 1935 in Vancouver, BC. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy in 1954 and was honourably discharged in 1962. He moved to Winnipeg in 1962, joining the St. Vital Fire Department in 1964, where he worked until 1981 when he joined the Office of the Fire Commissionaire for the Province of Manitoba. He worked in this office until 1993 when he took retirement. Terry and Dorothy moved to Gimli in August of 1998 where he enjoyed his retirement, crossword puzzles, fishing, but most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his three grandchildren. He was a kind, gentle man who always put other people before himself. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Gimli, MB, with Fr. Jose Cabral officiating. You were always there when we needed you, No task too great or small With a loving heart and willing hand For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray that when you left us, You knew how much we cared. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
