VALBORG (VALLE) SORENSEN Valborg Sorensen was born Valborg Vogelsang on January 17, 1918 in Denmark. She passed away July 25, 2001 in Kamloops, BC at the age of 83. Valle was predeceased by her husband George in 1999 and her son Tom in 1968. She is survived by her son Kim (Barbara) granddaughters, Tracey (Wayde) Simpson of Brighton, ON, Shauna (Lance) Kissack of Kamloops, BC, and Jodi Sorensen (Dale) of Victoria, BC; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Shayne and Aryn Simpson, Erika Kissack, and numerous relatives and friends in Canada, Denmark and Sweden. Valle and George with their two sons immigrated to Winnipeg, MB from Denmark in 1951. In 1996 they moved to Kamloops, BC, to be closer to their family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her daily walk around McArthur Island Park and could be found feeding her animal friends, the marmots. She will be sadly missed by all and can now rest in peace with George and Tom. We would especially like to thank the staff of 7 South, Dr. Bradley and Dr. Karpiak for their support and making her last days as comfortable as possible. No service by request of the family.
