IDA WILDE Peacefully, holding her beloved Edwards hand, Ida passed away August 7, 2001 at the age of 91. Ida is survived by her husband Edward Wilde, sister Elsa (Rose) and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Ida was born to Emilja and Rudolph Grulke, October 27, 1909 and was raised on the family farm at Chatfield, Manitoba. After courtship of several years, Ida married, the love of her life, Edward Wilde. Ida was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Emil and Harry, and sisters, Wanda (Glanfield) and Sophie (Sanker). Funeral service will be held Monday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street, Winnipeg, with Pastor W. Lehman officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Thanks are extended to the caring and compassionate staff at Heritage Lodge. Special thanks to niece Karen and her daughters for the loving care over the past years. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of their choice.
