WALTER MIKOLAYANKO On Sunday, August 5, 2001 Walter Mikolayanko passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years at the Seven Oaks Hospital. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Bill, John, Frank, Theresa, Julie, Lina and Sr. Georgia (Caroline). Walter is survived by his wife Stella; daughters, Sandra and Connie; son Ken (Michelle) grandchildren, Jason (Jocelyn), Jamie (Dana), Jeremy, Danielle, Brittney, Jaynie and Stacey; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Dylan; brothers, Mike and Peter as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Walter always enjoyed the many visits from his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family appreciated the ongoing care from Dr. A. Borys and recent care from the staff of 5B Unit 1 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. Cremation has taken place and the service to celebrate Walters life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8 in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with the Rev. Deacon Lawrence Wakaruk officiating. Interment in the Garden of Everlasting Life, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
