F. ROY VOSPER After a lengthy illness, Roy Vosper passed away at home on Sunday, August 5, 2001, at the age of 61 years. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Laura; daughter Laurie (John) Mayer; granddaughter Robyn; father Fred; brother Dennis (Debbie) and their children Paul and Katie; as well as close family members on Lauras side. Roy was predeceased by his mother Norma and son Dan. Roy was employed with the Province of Manitoba, Water Resources Branch for 40 years, retiring due to illness. He enjoyed photography and was the Treasurer of Shadow Catchers Photography Club. Roy and Laura were members of the Winnipeg Ballroom Dance Association and also enjoyed Country and Western dancing. He taught swimming at the Pan Am Pool for several years. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and a gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Thank you to the Transplant Clinic, Dr. J. Jeffery, Dr. D. Rush, and the Nurses and Doctors of the Health Science Centre Dialysis Unit. Thank you to the family for their care and support and a special thank you to Norm for keeping Roy laughing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roys memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8 or to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
