Bill was born on July 24, 1914, raised in Transcona, and had an interesting and varied career that included 10 years as a miner in Flin Flon and 10 years as a Winnipeg Police Officer and proud member of the Police Pipe Band. Bill had an outgoing personality that led to a number of successful sales careers and, along with Mary, operated Davies Lunch on McDermot Avenue for 15 years. The family wishes to especially thank the nurses and orderlies on A-6, St. Boniface General Hospital, for their loving care and kindness to Bill and the family.
