EDWARD GEORGE (TED) KEENA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward George (Ted) Keena on August 6, 2001. Ted was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Maxine, in September 1996. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sara (Winnipeg) and Mary Ann (Vancouver). Ted served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Halifax from 1941 to 1945. He was a longtime employee of the T. Eaton Co. where he spent many years in the carpet/oriental rug department. Ted was a 50 year charter member of Friendship Masonic Lodge No. 165 (Millennium No. 182), the Scottish Rite and was active in Khartum Temple Drum & Bugle Corps until 1997. He also attended Harrow United Church for many years. Ted was devoted to his family. He enjoyed many happy holidays at their cottage at Brereton Lake. Special thanks to all those who have given their assistance to Ted in recent years. A memorial service will be held at Harrow United Church, 955 Mulvey St. on Friday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m., led by Rev. Art Veldhuis.
