JOSEPH LAMIRANDE Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 7, 2001, at his residence, Joseph Lamirande passed away at the age of 89 years, husband of the late Leona Plouffe. Joseph was also predeceased by his second oldest son Edward. He is survived by his children, Annette (Leon) Bremner, Denis (Louise) from Merritt, BC, Arthur, Anita (Fred) Heidman from The Pas, MB, Irene (John) Marsholock, Wilfred (Judith), and Shirley (Ron) Thibideau; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who were all very special to him. Joseph is also survived by one sister-in-law Edna Lamirande. Joseph was honoured at a social event on August 4, 2001, celebrating his 90th birthday and a family reunion. He was a very special, loving father and will be missed dearly. Prayers and visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Parish Church, 778 Archibald St., with Rev. Fr. Isaie Blanchette presiding. Interment will follow. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Joes surviving relatives. The family thanks the Quest Inn for the loving care that was given to our Dad for the past two years, also to Fr.
