Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT THOMAS MARSHALL After a lengthy illness, Bob passed away on August 4, 2001 at Penticton, BC at the age of 72. Bob was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 27, 1929. He grew up on Seven Oaks Ave. in West Kildonan. When he finished high school he went to work for Trans Canada Airlines. While employed there he was transferred to Vancouver and then to Calgary where he spent the rest of his working life. He took early retirement from Air Canada and he and Maureen then moved to Penticton, BC. There they spent their leisure time golfing, curling and playing bridge. Besides his loving wife, Maureen, Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Beverley of Calgary, AB; son Douglas and his wife Karen of Edmonton, AB and son Cameron of Winnipeg; his five grandchildren, Ryan, Donovan, Chelsea, Mark and Chuck all of Edmonton. Also surviving are his brother Grant (Marnie) and his sister Olly Gyles of Winnipeg, many nieces and nephews and relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Marshall in 1970 and his mother Kathleen in 1989. He was a kind and gentle man who never had a bad word to say to or about anyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
