MARGARET (MARGO) R. PENROSE (nee LINDAL) Passed away in Nanaimo, BC on August 3, 2001, after a valiant and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Margo was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1980 and son Mark in 1955 (aged four and one-half). She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Foley Clair Boyd (Doug) of Nanoose Bay, Melanie Cooke of Victoria, John Penrose of Edmonton and Daniel Penrose of Coombs; and her grandchildren, Kaley and Rob Boyd; Michael, Christy and Amanda Cooke; and Rachelle Penrose; brother Bud (Glee) Lindal, of Winnipeg; and many nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the United States. Her friendship and wonderful personality will be sadly missed by her good friend Gib Pamplin and her many friends in Alberta, British Columbia and around the world. A memorial service will be held at the Parksville Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 1 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Zuccaro, Dr. Williams, and the kind staff at the Nanaimo Cancer Clinic and everyone at Berwick on the Lake.
