HAZEL ELIZABETH GREEN 1918 - 2001 With family at her side, Hazel Green peacefully, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2001. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, John (Madeline), Elaine (Dave) Sharpe, Gary ( Cathy) and Ken (Lily). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Chris, Samantha, Heather, Michael, Andrew, Valerie, Dustin, Brendan, Bradley and Bryan. Also left to mourn are her sisters, Beatrice and Grace Davidson and Edith (Claire) Brown of Oshawa, ON and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Garnet, in 1985, to whom she was happily married for 43 years. Together they enjoyed playing duplicate bridge, making wine and taking family vacations with their children and grandchildren. A devoted homemaker, Hazel enjoyed baking (especially for her grandchildren), gardening, sewing and needlework of all kinds. Above all she treasured family. We will miss her thoughtful nature and wry wit. A private family service will be held at a later date. The family is grateful to the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their many acts of kindness.
