GARTH GORDON WINDSOR February 11, 1930 - August 6, 2001 Garth Gordon Windsor of Swan River passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer at the Swan River Valley Hospital on Monday, August 6, 2001, at the age of 71 years. Son of Gordon and Florence Windsor. Predeceased by wife Edna Jacqueline (nee Turton) 1995. Prior to Garths retirement, a big part of his life was the "Windsor Shell" service station. He enjoyed meeting and talking to his many "customer friends" and just being around the activity of the service centre. Garth enjoyed flying and gliding and was a member of the Swan River Flying Club. He also was a avid reader and camper. Garth also was an active curler, swimmer, bowler, cross country skier, fisherman, and winemaker. Garth is survived by daughters, Elaine (Wayne) Kushniryk of Swan River, MB, Brenda (Keith) Wakely of Estovan, SK, Cheryl (Gerry) Morris of Brandon, MB; grandchildren, Tyler (18), Arlene (14), Aaron (5), Jared (3), Thomas (2), and Sydney (3 wks) special friend Diane Sylvester; sister Hazel (Ed) Lane; brother Doug (Doreen) Windsor; sister Lois (Jerry) Hudson. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. James Anglican Church, Swan River. Interment will follow in the Birchwood Cemetery. Rev. Nigel Packwood officiating. Memorial donations in Garths memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Paull Funeral Home & Crematorium - 506 - 2nd Street North, Swan River, MB was honored to serve the family.
