HELEN GRACE GOLDMAN (nee LEVSON) March 10, 1914 - August 8, 2001 After a long illness at Central Park Lodge No. 2, Helen Goldman passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Louie and daughter Rita. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Terry Goldman and wife Bernadine of Los Alamos, NM, and daughter Barbara Goldman and husband Francis Newman of Winnipeg. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Oliver Goldman and his wife Gloria Tzang of Redwood City, CA, Elizabeth Goldman of Austin, TX, Leah and Matthew Goldman, of Los Alamos, NM, and Peter Alyse and Eileen Newman of Winnipeg. Helen was very proud of being a "Normal" graduate as teachers college of that era was called. Education and intellectual pursuits were extremely important to her, and she saw to it that her children were well educated. She was always grateful for the assistance of the Grey Nuns at St. Amant Centre for the years of loving care they gave her daughter Rita. Graveside service will be held at BNay Abraham Cemetery, 4639 Main St., Sunday, August 12 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helens memory may be made to St. Amant Centre, Canadian Diabetes Association or the C.N.I.B. The family would like to thank the staff of CPL No. 2, 4th floor, for the kindness and care given to Helen.
