Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA STASIUK Passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Olga will be dearly missed by son-in-law Lawrence Panagapko of Winnipeg and granddaughter Candace of White Rock, BC. Surviving and mourning the loss of this wonderful lady are her sisters, Emily (Tom) Miller, Stephanie (Dez) Burling, Mae (Joe) Mandziuk and brother John. She was predeceased by infant son Jim in 1939; husband Mike on June 17, 2000; daughter Iris on July 1, 2000; also sisters, Lena, Pauline and brother Walter. Olga was born on August 1, 1912 and raised in the Caliento, MB area. She married Mike Stasiuk on November 17, 1935 and both operated general stores in Caliento and Rainy River, ON. In 1955 they moved to Fort Francis, ON and resided there until moving to Winnipeg in 1978. She was well known as a very hard working woman dedicated to her family and to her faith. She was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in 1948 and enjoyed many years of faithful service to Jehovah. She was associated with the Glenlawn congregation and her love for the ministry in sharing the bibles hope of Gods kingdom arrangement, the congregation meetings and her spiritual brothers and sisters was truly exemplary. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovahs Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd. at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13 with Steven Gilbertson officiating. A graveside service and interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Olgas memory may be made to the Southdale Kingdom Hall Centre.
