MARJORIE ELLEN LIVINGSTONE (nee FRANKLIN) With heavy hearts we are sad to announce that peacefully on the morn of a beautiful August day our Mom and Nan passed away. Mom was born on August 28, 1932 and grew up in Weston. She married Jack Livingstone on Sept-ember 20, 1952 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage until Jacks passing in June of 1998. Together they raised their three children. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughter Donna (George) Reimer; and sons, Jim (Elaine) of Calgary, and Randy (Kelly) and her dog Skipper. Her grandchildren, of whom she was so proud, Sharlee and Vincent Reimer, Jonathan, Matthew and Benjamin Livingstone, and Thomas and Amanda Livingstone will deeply miss their Nan, but will always treasure the love and kindness she showered upon them. Also surviving are her mother Ellen Langthorne; brothers and sisters, Gib, Cliff, Ev and Karen and families. She was predeceased by her father Herbert in 1954. Moms family was very important to her and we will so miss her - the Sunday dinners and those special occasions when we all got together at her house. Mom was truly a special woman with her kind and generous manner. She had a heart of gold and was always there for us. She loved to be outside tending to her yard and garden from which she took great pride and when not outside you could find her in the house sitting with her wool working on a new afghan for a special someone. She was one in a million, never stopping for a second to think of herself, and her passing has left a deep ache in all of our hearts. Mom had worked for the T. Eaton Company for over 25 years, retiring in 1994. Mom will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A memorial service to celebrate Moms life will be held Friday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Jim Hatherly officiating. Should friends wish, a donation in Moms memory can be made to The Childrens Wish Foundation (Manitoba) or to a charity of ones choice. Until we meet again, Nan We love you Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
