ADOLPH YANICKI It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Adolph, on Friday, August 10, 2001, aged 80 years, at the Health Sciences Centre. Adolph leaves to cherish his memory, and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Josephine; and their children, Louis (Judy), Joe (Irene), Irene (Bill) Remarchuk, Frank (Aline), Shirley (Stan) King, Roger (Pat), and Terry (Samantha) 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother Barney; and sisters, Verna Robinson and Stella Grywinski. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary; and brother Henry. Adolph was born Monday, May 2, 1921, in Krakow, Poland, and came to Canada as a young child with his family. He married Josephine (Chudyk) on Monday, October 6, 1941. They lived in Broad Valley, Fisher Branch, and then made their home in Winnipeg. He was a self-taught, masterfully skilled industrial mechanic by trade, and in his retirement years, continued to enjoy his craft by repairing small engine equipment. There was not a challenge too large or small for him. He was a caring and giving person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. (last respects may be paid prior to the service) at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., with Msgr. Maurice Comeault P.H., V.F., officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1020 MAIN STREET 582-0973
