HENRY FROEHLICH Henry Froehlich, aged 83, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2001 at the Beausejour Hospital. Henry was born on March 18, 1918 in Greenwald, MB. He farmed in summer and in winter he went to the bush camps. In 1959, he hauled mail bags to small post offices in the area. In 1967, with the help of his wife, he delivered mail every day. In 1991, he had a heart attack and retired at the age of 73. He did some gardening, playing accordion and farming. He is survived by his sons, Albert, Donald (Cathy), Raymond and Bernie; his grandchildren, Jarad and Travis; his brother Harold and wife Ruth; sister-in-law Nora Froehlich; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian in 1982; his brother Fred; his parents, William and Alvina; and stepfather William Block. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue East, Beausejour, with Pastor Charlotte Kalthoff officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may view on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Beausejour Hospital for their care and kindness.
