Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRUCE EDWIN NENIS Peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2001, at the Victoria General Hospital, Bruce Nenis passed away. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Ivy Nenis. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 27 years, Janice (Thomson), and son Ian; close cousin, Marilyn Johnston; mother and father-in-law, Evelyn and Ian Thomson; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Garry) Schlag and Eileen Blackmore; as well as many other relatives and friends. Bruce was born in Winnipeg on November 16, 1943. He attended Greenway Elementary and Daniel MacIntyre Collegiate. He received a Business Administration Diploma from Red River Community College in 1969. He began his working career as a buyer for Acme Novelty in Toronto, returning to Winnipeg after two years and for the next 25 years was involved in the design and installation of many cable T.V. systems across Canada. In 1995 he formed his own business and was instrumental in the installation of Interactive Televisions in rural Manitoba schools. He was a member of the Winnipeg Ski Club for many years. He also enjoyed golfing, travelling and spending time with his family at the cabin at Nutimik Lake. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, August 16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Special thanks to the caring nurses and doctors at the Victoria General Hospital.
