CECIL GORDON TOVELL On August 9, 2001 Cecil Gordon Tovell passed away in Selkirk at the age of 93, after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred; his mother and father, Gordon and Hilda Tovell; and three brothers, Charles, Albert and Leslie. Cecil leaves to mourn two sisters, Ruth Eatough of Winnipeg, Marjorie Umbach of Calgary; numerous nieces and nephews; his sisters-in-law, Elsie Tovell in Vancouver and Vera Ferguson in Ottawa; and his good friends, Ronald and Marianne Doerr in Winnipeg. Cecil was born March 14, 1908 in Winnipeg and was educated in Lorette and Norwood. After he retired from the C.N.R. in 1973, he and his wife Mildred moved to Matlock, MB, and travelled extensively. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment for Cecil and his wife Mildred will take place at Brookside Cemetery. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1501 Waverley Street 949-4860
