ANTHONY "TONY" CANCILLA Anthony "Tony" Cancilla, aged 91, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2001 at his residence in Winnipeg. He is survived by his son Allan Cancilla of Winnipeg; his step-son Robert Bennington of Langley, BC; and loving sister Angelina Knabb of Winnipeg; many nieces, nephews, and grand-children in Manitoba and B.C. He was predeceased by sisters Mary and Annette; his brothers Sam and Frank; and loving wife Margaret of Winnipeg. Tony was a life-time employee of the CN Railway with regular weekly runs to Toronto or Vancouver as sleeping car conductor. He was a member of F.O. Eagles for 25 years. Gardening, bowling, curling and fishing were some of his hobbies. Tony will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at on Thursday, August 16 at 1:30 p.m. in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Please gather at 1:15 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
