REV. JACOB P. DUECK 1907-2001 The family would like to announce home going of their father, who died peacefully at his home in Steinbach, on August 13, 2001. He was predeceased by his wife Elisabeth in 1999. He will be missed by his children, Gordon (Nettie) Dueck, Henry (Shirley) Dueck, Margaret (Allan) Chambers, Betty (Gerald) Patterson, Peter (Dina) Dueck, Robert Dueck, Grace (Garry) Klassen, George (Ann) Dueck, Vernon (Barbara) Dueck; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his only surviving sister Tina Friesen. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 420 Main St., Steinbach, MB. Interment in the Heritage Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Friday, August 17, 7:30 p.m. with devotional to follow at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Should friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to: Steinbach E.M.C. Missions Fund or the Gideon Bible Society. The family would like to thank the homecare staff and nurses who cared for Dad during his lengthy illness.
