Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER HAROLD SCRAPNECK With deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Walter, aged 73, on August 14, 2001 at Concordia Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Janet; sons, Richard, Ronald (Mary), and Robert; and grandchildren, Allyson, Justin and Braden; brother Ed (Vi) nieces, and nephews; and sister-in-law Gloria (Robert) Robertson. He was predeceased by his infant brother George; his father and mother. Walter retired as a Coordinator in the Engineering Department of the CNR after 45 years of service. He was a member of the Grey Street United Church. The family wish to thank the staff on 3rd Floor, Concordia Hospital, for their loving care and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing starting at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Earl Gould officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walters memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
