MILDRED LORRAINE NEELIN Peacefully on August 11, 2001, Mildred Neelin passed away at the age of 87 at Central Park Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Neelin in 1970; brother and sister-in-law Eldon and Elaine Johnson and brother-in-law Clarence Riddell. Her memory will be forever cherished by her son Dennis Neelin; sister Marie Riddell; nephew Norman (Judy) Riddell as well as numerous relatives and friends. Mom was born in Fillmore, SK and graduated from normal school in Regina and taught in a one-room schoolhouse in the Fillmore area until 1940 when she married Jack Neelin and became a homemaker. They began their marriage in Montreal and moved to Winnipeg in 1945 where they resided until 1967 when they moved to Vancouver. After Dads passing mom moved back to Fillmore for one year and then back to Winnipeg where she remained until her passing. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mildreds memory to the M.S.
