VIOLET MAY RUDOLPH (1924 - 2001) (nee Lambert) After a lengthy illness, Violet passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at Seven Oaks Hospital with her loving family by her side. Violet was predeceased by her parents, husband Allen, daughter Eileen, son Daniel, brother Albert and special companion John Henry. Violet is survived by her beloved children, Albert (Cecile), Charles (Joanne), Jim (Laurie), Oliver (Marg), Linda (Welby), Ernie (Dale), Gloria (Scott), Raymond (Sandy), Dennis (Kim), Arlene (Jason) and grandchildren of whom she was so proud of 36 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Violets family was very important to her and she will be strongly missed. Mom always had a heart of gold, truly a special woman with her kind and generous manner. Homemade pies and cakes will forever linger in our memories. Grandma provided her family with an un-ending supply of love. She was always there for us. Grandma was one in a million, never stopping for a second to think of herself. Her passing has left us a deep ache in all of our hearts, but her strength and loving devotion to her family will live on in all of us. We love you. Prayers will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 20 at McCreary United Church, McCreary, MB with Rev. Joe Ball officiating. Interment to follow in McCreary Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Boyd, Raymond Beardy, Barry Dubois. Active pallbearers will be Donnie Richard, Keith Rudolph, Darryl Rudolph, Chuck Boyd, Clifford Rudolph and Kevin Rudolph.
