CORO T. VANCE (MAITLAND) (nee KATHLINE DAPHNE WEEKS) September 4, 1931 - August 17, 2001 Peacefully with her son Scot at her side and her two special friends, Helen and Bonnie, Coro left this world to be in a warm and safe place. Coro was predeceased by her husband Walter A.R. Maitland, June 1997. She was a loving and dedicated mother and leaves to mourn, her adoring son Scot Maitland of Montreal and special friends. Coro was a loyal employee of C.N. Rail, Symington Yard, for 37 years. She was a devout Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed trips to Memphis with her fan club and collecting Elvis memorabilia. A talented and gifted artist, she loved to draw and make jewellery. Scot would like to thank the nursing staff, 5th floor, Victoria Hospital for the attentive care they gave to his mother. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of, a donation may be made to the Heart and Lung Association in her name. A private family celebration of her life will take place.
