MICHAEL ARSENY Suddenly on August 18, 2001, at his residence, at the age of 91 years. Michael was predeceased by his wife Doreen on July 7, 1998, his mother Rose and sister Anne. He is survived by his daughter Joan (George) Burkitt; son Gordon (Georgette) Arseny; grandchildren, Trevor (Jeanette) Burkitt, Nadine (Tony) Stasiuk, and Todd Arseny; great-grandchildren, Anna, Kayleigh, Christine and Nicholas. Michael worked at Canada Post for 33 years prior to retirement in 1975. Gee Gee was a devoted family man who loved his family dearly; he enjoyed going to the family cottage at Winnipeg Beach where there were many happy times. Dad loved sports of all kinds, especially bowling. He was a champion snooker player and loved playing the game. We love you Gee Gee, and you will forever be in our hearts. Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be George Kosmuk, Trevor Burkitt, Todd Arseny, James Todd, Tony Stasiuk, and Nick Kosmuk.
