TAMER HARPER On Friday, August 17, 2001 at Red Sucker Lake, Tamer Harper passed away at the age of 58 years. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory husband Joshua Harper; sons, Mike (Lucy) Harper, John George (Evelyn) Harper, Brian (Ruth Ann) Harper, Bruce (Vanessa) Harper, Joey Yellowback-Harper; daughters, Mary Jane (Cornelius) Wood, Abbie (Mark) Osborne, Sandra (Robert) Barkman, Helena (Brian) McDougall, Stella (Absolum) McDougall and Nicole; 35 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother Jeremiah Harper and wife Sarah Harper; sisters, Eva Day, Rebecca Keno, Mary Ann Harper, Jimimah and Raymond Monias; mother-in-law Jessie H. Harper; brothers-in-law, Matthew and Doreen Joy Harper, Allen and Mary Harper, Zack and Lilly Jane Harper, Lester and Juliette Harper, Philip and Christina Harper, Jeffery and Pauline Greene, Jackie and Muriel Greene; sisters-in-law, Delia and Eli Barkman, Rose and Ed Simms, Pat and Dennis Dwyer, Lillian and George Harper. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prayers were said on Sunday, August 19, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2001 and Tuesday, August 21, 2001 at Red Sucker Lake. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Red Sucker Lake United Church, Red Sucker Lake Manitoba with Rev. Benny Harper officiating. Interment to follow at the Red Sucker Lake Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre, Dialysis Unit, Home Care Workers, Handi-Helper, Spring and Duffy Taxis for all their care and understanding given to Tamer.
