Mom (and her family) appreciated everything you did for her. A special thank you is also extended to "Cal" from Rana Medical. Mom always looked forward to your visit and enjoyed your outgoing personality. In lieu of flowers, the famly wishes a donation be made in Bettys memory to the Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation, Leila Avenue, or the Shrine Transportation Fund, in care of Khartum Shriners, 1155 Wilkes. Betty had a vibrant love for poetry. She wrote two books of beautiful words which will become a part of her legacy. Her family would like to share one of her poems with you. Secret Places In our hearts are secret chambers Where we store memories that are dear We keep them there for safety And we always have them near We can recall them any time Whenever we feel blue As often as we call them They always seem brand new We fill the chambers often With things we want to keep We bring them out one by one When we lay our heads to sleep Theres happiness in the chambers Also sadness in a few Thats what keeps life even And keeps us even too!
